Expedited Process / TC1 Classification
734 projects in the AE1 through AG1 queues did not receive an Interconnection Service Agreement or Wholesale Market Participation Agreement as of the Transition Start Date of July 10, 2023. Per PJM Tariff Part VII, Subpart B, section 303, these projects were eligible to transition to the Reformed Interconnection Process provided they submitted readiness requirements by Friday, September 8th, 2023. PJM confirmed that there were 616 Projects that have satisfactorily submitted all necessary readiness documents. In accordance with Tariff Part VII, Subpart B, section 304, PJM has performed load flow analysis (Transition Sort Retool) on these 616 projects to determine if each project would qualify for the Expedited Process or be reprioritized to Transition Cycle 1.
The list below contains all 734 projects that were eligible for the Transition to the Process Reform. There are four possible dispositions for each project.
- Expedited Process: These are projects that posted sufficient readiness requirements, were studied using the PJM load flow process, and have been determined to qualify for the Expedited Process.
- Transition Cycle 1: These are projects that posted sufficient readiness requirements, were studied using the PJM load flow process, and did not qualify for the Expedited Process. They will be reprioritized and continue in Transition Cycle 1.
- Not Applicable: These are projects that have either withdrawn on their own accord, did not post readiness requirements by the due date, or did not post sufficient readiness requirements, and have been withdrawn as a result.
- Originally Expedited Process, shifted to TC1: Projects originally dispositioned as Expedited Process. The results of the refreshed Expedited Process analysis reveal that the project is no longer eligible for the Expedited Process and will shift to Transition Cycle 1 in accordance with Tariff Part VII, Subpart B, section 304. These projects will become part of the TC1 model at Phase 2 and receive a Phase 2 System Impact Study along with the other projects in Transition Cycle 1. If you have any questions, please reach out to your PJM project manager.
Each project has a load flow report, linked in the "Transition Sort Retool Report" column below. The report identifies how each TC1 / Expedited Process disposition was determined. Projects who were withdrawn before load flow analysis was begun did not receive a Retool Report and are marked 'N/A' instead.
